Bar/Bartender Services (Newport Rib Co)

Newport Rib Company has multiple bar service packages that accommodates any budget and type of event. Please review our service options. Our full service catering staff will work with you to tailor the bar service that best fit your event.

Newport Rib Company provides your event with everything needed for your bar. This includes the alcohol (premium or platinum brands), mixers, four types of beer, (two domestic and two specialty), wines (3 varietals), soft drinks and bottled water. We also provide plastic cups, napkins, bar equipment, drink garnishes, tablecloths for bar tables, ice and ice chests for storage of drinks. Note: we do not provide the actual bar.

The catering client is changed per drink and there are no additional charges for the bartender. A client may choose to host the bar and pay the Rib Company directly or may elect to have a no host bar in which the guests pay for their drinks at the bar. Bar minimum is $600 or an hourly rate for bartender may apply.

Pricing is as follows:

Premium alcohol $6/drink
Platinum alcohol: $7/drink
Premium Wine: $5/glass or $18/bottle
Platinum wine: $7/glass or $26/bottle
Beer, domestic and specialty: $4-$6/drink
Soft drinks and bottled water: $1/drink

This option allows the event planner to purchase all of the alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and water for their party. Newport Rib Company supports the event by providing all mixers, plastic cups, napkins, bar equipment, drink garnishes, bar tablecloths, ice and ice chests for storage of drinks, which can be overwhelming for a host. We also provide the bartender for your party. This option is for hosted bars only. Note: We do not provide the actual bar.

Pricing is as follows:
Bar Assistance: $2/guest (minimum 40 guests)
Bartender: $280/4 hours of service. Each additional hour is billed at $45/hour.

Newport Rib Company prides itself as being a full service-catering restaurant. For this reason, we provide bartending services for our catering clients.

This service is used when guests receive a predetermined amount of drink tickets to redeem throughout the evening. After tickets are used, guests may purchase additional drinks. Bar minimum is $600 or hourly rate for bartender may apply.

**All Events held at Long Beach State University (CSULB) are subject to a 13% surcharge on all billed items due to commissions paid by Rib Co. to 49er Shops.**
